Who We Are

CGOS is the system CommonGood uses to run its volunteer and staff work at CommonGood Medical, our free clinic, and CommonGood Thrift. It lives at cgos.commongoodmedical.org. These terms cover CGOS only. The CommonGood Medical and CommonGood Thrift websites have their own terms.

By signing in to CGOS, or by agreeing to texts or emails from us, you agree to these terms.

Who May Use CGOS

• CGOS is for CommonGood's volunteers, staff and the people applying to join them . It is not for patients or the public.
• Your account is yours alone. Don't share your Username, password, authenticator code or sign-in links. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has used your account.
• Keep the information you give us true and up to date . You can change most of it yourself in your Portal.

Using CGOS Properly

• Use CGOS only for your work with CommonGood.
• Don't look for, copy or share information you weren't given access to , including anything about other volunteers, staff or patients. Your confidentiality agreement with CommonGood applies in CGOS too.
• Don't try to get around CGOS's security, test it for weaknesses, or slow it down.

We may pause or end your access to CGOS if you break these terms, or when you stop working with CommonGood.

Text Messages

CommonGood sends text messages through CGOS only to people who agree to them. You can read exactly what you agree to in our text messaging consent .

• What we text: sign-in links you ask for, shift reminders and confirmations, schedule changes, requests to fill open shifts, training and document reminders, and replies from our coordinators.
• How often: it varies with your schedule, usually a few messages a week, more when you are signing in or being scheduled.
• Msg & data rates may apply.
• Reply STOP to any of our numbers to stop all texts. We'll confirm it, send you no more texts, and email you instead. Reply START to turn texts back on.
• Reply HELP for help, or contact the Volunteer Coordinator.
• You don't have to agree to texts to volunteer. You can choose email instead, and change your choice at any time in your Portal.
• Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
• We never sell your mobile number or share it for marketing.

Emails

When you choose email, we email you about the same things we would text. Replying to an email from a coordinator reaches them.

Your Information

How we collect, use and protect your information is in our privacy policy .

CGOS as It Is

We work hard to keep CGOS running and your information safe, but we can't promise it will always be available or free of mistakes. Check your schedule with your coordinator if something looks wrong.

Changes to These Terms

When we change these terms, we post the new version here with its date.
